Thank you '25. Recharging for '26.

After 138 months (11.5 years) in business, the last 12 months have been the most important. We came into 2025 excited yet exhausted after a challenging 12 months.

If 2024 was the year of learning the difference between getting it right and the danger when you get it wrong, 2025 was the year of learning that when a team of talented, genuine, and motivated individuals comes together, a lot in life can change quickly.

In 2025, my most proud moments are in no particular order:

1. Baby #23 of the Alcove team arrived (congrats Matthew), and while we absolutely achieved so much at work, I know every team member did so at home with their families as well.
2. We helped 774 clients buy their first home, upgrade, invest, renovate, or get a better mortgage strategy.
3. Total alignment on our mission and business strategy to help Australian families make great Mortgage and Property Decisions
4. Life and business partnership with two brothers Ben & Jonathan, who truly care about everyone around them, while being unicorns at what they do for clients
5. Completely challenged ourselves, innovated, and improved our client advice proposition.
6. The business name has changed over the years, but I couldn’t be happier with where we are today as a brand, Rich
7. ‍Craig & Nick have not only built but are delivering enormous value via an integrated Mortgage Debt solution for the clients of leading trusted advice firms.
8. Tisha moving from Nepal to Sydney, and Siju leading our Nepal and Philippines teams, who grew in every way to help our clients
9. Strategy team focused on building collective knowledge in every client mortgage and property decision - Piyush, Katrina, Alice, Andrew
10. ‍Alicia is a true leader in our client experience and is the trusted first port of call for many of our clients
11. Sandy is leading a team of four, driving better rates for every existing client.
12. Alex, Adam, Matthew, and Jack built tailored offerings for their clients' unique needs, breaking new ground in their client niches.
13. 150+ Episodes of The Elephant In The Room Property Podcast, Rask Australian Property Podcast, First Home Unlocked, and Street Secrets Podcast, with a team now built to share learnings on scale.
